7 Natural Treatments For Gorgeous Hair

If you are suffering from dry, damaged or frizzy hair, or if you just want to give your hair a little lift, then resist applying harsh treatments loaded with potentially dangerous chemicals, and instead try these all natural treatments for achieving soft, silky and beautiful hair.

1. Apple Cider Vinegar

Acetic acid, one of the major compounds present in apple cider vinegar, helps to balance the pH of the scalp while also removing excess dirt and impurities resulting from chemical laden hair care products.

For a simple apple cider vinegar treatment, mix a third of a cup with one litre of water. Add some herbs, such as rosemary, for extra benefits and apply to hair after shampooing. Leave in for a few minutes then thoroughly rinse out.

2. Beer

Beer is rich in biotin, which is one of the most important vitamins for hair growth. It also contains proteins which help to repair hair, maltose which strengthens hair and sucrose which adds natural shine.

3. Argan Oil

Argan oil also helps to moisturize the hair due to its high concentration of omega fatty acids and vitamin E. Argan oil is able to penetrate the hair shaft enabling it to deliver the required nutrients to damaged hair follicles.

4. Coconut Oil

Oils are fantastic for hair, and coconut oil is perhaps the best. Not only will it make your hair smell like a tropical island paradise, but it is a natural emollient due to being rich in vitamin E so moisturizes each hair strand. Try using coconut oil for your hair and see just how magical it is.

5. Shea Butter

Shea butter originates from Africa and is derived from the fruit of the Shea tree nut. It is vitamin rich with A, E and F vitamins all present and it helps to promote healthy hair growth, rehydrates healthy hair, heals scalp conditions and protects against harmful UV rays (it has an SPF 6 rating).

6. Mango Butter

Mango butter works in much the same was as Shea butter. It restores moisture to the scalp which helps to promote cell regeneration and stimulate healthy hair growth. Try a mango butter hair mask to experience the magical benefits.

7. Hair Masks

Speaking of hair masks, they are a fantastic way to repair hair and restore moisture and shine. A few hair mask recipes to try include: a banana hair mask, an avocado hair mask, an olive oil hair mask and a honey hair mask.

There are lots of different versions of these hair mask recipes so browse around Google and find your favorite.

There is hope for your hair yet! Use these natural treatments rather than spending your hard earned money on expensive chemical treatments.
