Ontario Place is an entertainment venue, event venue, and park in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located on three artificial landscaped islands just off-shore in Lake Ontario, south of Exhibition Place, and southwest of Downtown Toronto.
Ontario Place first opened in 1971 but was closed in 2012 after years of declining attendance. The new Ontario Place will include an indoor water park and spa, a revamped concert venue and an “adventure park,” the province announced on Friday.
Ontario Place offers a variety of waterfront experiences and recreational activities such as beaches, waterfront trails, swimming and boating. They also have a General Store with a great selection of food and beverages available from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. starting this weekend.
