The CNE 2023 in Review

The Canadian National Exhibition has wrapped up another ground breaking year. The CNE is a popular end-of-summer event that attracts visitors from all over the world. The event has been held annually since 1879 and has become a tradition for many families in the Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. The CNE offers a wide range of activities for visitors of all ages. Some of the most popular attractions include the midway rides, the food building, and the casino.

The weather was amazing for the annual event with well over one and a half million visitors. The CNE (also known as the EX) had plenty of food, exhibits, rides, and shows, including an exhibition on Pink Floyd: Their Mortal Remains. The CNE marks the end of summer vacation with the final day being Labour Day Monday. It’s a must visit attraction in Toronto for both Torontonians and tourists alike.

Here are some of the scenes from this year’s CNE:

Canadian International Air Show Gallery

The 2023 CNE featured the Canadian International Air Show (CIAS), which celebrated its 74th year. The CIAS is Canada’s largest and longest-running airshow and features a variety of aerial performances.

The show featured two headliners: the Canadian Forces Snowbirds and the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. In addition to these two jet teams, the show included the United States Air Force F-16 Viper demonstration, the Canadian Forces CF-18 demonstration, and Gord Price in his Yak50.

The CIAS is a must-see event for aviation enthusiasts and families alike. Visitors can enjoy the aerial performances while also taking in other attractions such as midway rides, food, exhibits, and more.

The CNE is a great way to spend a day or two with family and friends. With so much to see and do, it’s no wonder that it’s become such a popular event in Toronto. Be sure to catch next year’s CNE.
